We start the week off with high pressure in control today! We’ll have a decent amount of sunshine with some clouds mixing in, especially later in the afternoon. Highs will be pleasant for this time of year in the low and mid 40s. Overnight, cloud cover returns with a shower or two developing late. Lows drop into the lower and mid 30s.

A cold front nears northeastern and central Pennsylvania on Tuesday with scattered showers. It will be slightly warmer with highs approaching 50. The cold front stalls on Wednesday, leaving us with additional scattered showers. Since the front is still off to our west, this will allow temperatures to climb into the lower and mid 50s.

While an isolated shower is possible for Thursday, we should be able to catch a brief break from the rainy pattern. Highs around 50. An area of low pressure will bring another round of rain on Friday with highs in the low and mid 40s.

Drier weather is expected for the weekend. Saturday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the low 40s. Sunday will have a bit more sunshine. Highs in the lower 40s.

Have a great week!
