Scattered showers and thunderstorms moving across the area in the warm and humid air may bring torrential rain, strong wind and hail.
We expect all of this activity to taper off this evening. The rest of the night will turn out warm and a bit humid with lows near 60.
It won’t be nearly as muggy Thursday, but it will stay warm. Highs will be in the lower and middle 80s. A late-day shower or storm is possible, especially in central and southern PA. A few more showers and a rumble of thunder are likely on Friday. Once again, Friday’s highs will be in the lower and middle 80s.
A cold front will push through the Northeast on Saturday with an isolated shower or storm. Saturday will stay warm as temperatures climb into the lower 80s, but Sunday will be cooler with highs near 70. Sunday will offer us a mix of clouds and sunshine.
At this point, we have sunny and mild weather in the forecast for early next week. It could get much warmer by the middle and end of next week.
