EYEWITNESS WEATHER (WBRE/WYOU-TV)— Another weather concern during the spring and summer months is heavy rain that can quickly lead to flooding.

 Some low lying areas in our region are known to flood quickly. And then, there are times with bigger impacts, like when the Susquehanna River begins to rise.

Many will remember Agnes in ’72 and 20-11 when the river rose again to historic levels, causing evacuations and plenty of damage.
