The Wyoming Valley Mall was the site of a food drive put on by C-E-O and the Weinberg Northeast Regional Food bank.
They say the need is great this holiday season and that 9 thousand families will benefit from the event.
1600 volunteers came together to bag thanksgiving meals, including turkey and all the fixings.
This marks the 40th year in a row for The C-E-O and Weinberg food bank drive.
