SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)UPDATE: A man is in custody Sunday morning after he allegedly shot at people in Scranton.

Police responded to reports of shots fired on Kennedy Street Saturday night. Neighbors say they heard the shots followed by a brawl on the street.

The Scranton police chief confirms with Eyewitness News that a man fired rounds outside of his apartment at people who allegedly assaulted him.

No one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.

Scranton Police are investigating shots fired in the Bangor Heights section of the city Saturday night.

Reports of shots fired sent Scranton PD to the 500 block of Kennedy Street. Neighbors say they heard shots followed by a brawl on the street. Chief Carl Graziano confirms with Eyewitness News that a male suspect fired rounds outside his apartment allegedly at people who had assaulted him.

No one was hit, but the scene has been cleared for an investigation. Scranton Police are questioning the suspect.
