(WBRE/WYOU) — A former convict walked out of a Pennsylvania prison Wednesday after serving 21 years for a murder he didn’t commit.

That’s after a judge in Philadelphia dismissed all charges against John Miller. In 1998, he was convicted of killing a parking lot attendant in Philadelphia.

But the conviction was largely based on the testimony of a man who later confessed to the murder in a letter to Miller’s mother.
