A crowd awaits Vice President Mike Pence at a campaign stop in Reading, PA.

READING, BERKS COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Vice President Mike Pence landed on Air Force Two at Reading Regional Airport Saturday afternoon and addressed a crowd of supporters.

He acknowledged the significant role Pennsylvania plays in the upcoming election.

He made his case for re-election, saying the Trump Administration rebuilt the military and the economy during its first term before the pandemic hit.

“In just three short years. businesses created more than seven million good-paying jobs, including 200,000 right here in Pennsylvania,” said Pence.

The “RealClearPolitics Average of Recent Polls” shows President Trump is trailing candidate Joe Biden by five percentage points in Pennsylvania.
