 Baseball fans from around the world  turning their attention to some of the best young ball players on the planet.

 Those players are in Lycoming County right now at Lamade stadium and Volunteer Stadium in south Williamsport.

It’s called the parade of teams.

  Players  from as far away as South Korea and Australia, taking part,  as well as South Dakota and Washington State.

 The fun all got underway last night when Williamsport welcomed the world!
   For the second straight year Eyewitness News was proud to broadcast the “Grand Slam Parade” last night.
       
Thousands of people lined the streets to get a glimpse of the 16 teams competing for a world title.
Our Morning Team, Kelly, Stefano, and Chris had the chance to hand out limited edition Eyewitness News pins.
      
The games begin this afternoon at one.
