12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS: #4 Wyoming Seminary Field Hockey Three-peat

High School Sports

For the first time in PIAA history, a field hockey team won three consecutive state championships. Wyoming Seminary accomplished that feat in Class 1A in November, defeating Greenwood in dominating fashion for yet another state title under head coach Karen Klassner. The Blue Knights were bolstered in their pursuit of another championship by winning the District II title in dramatic fashion over Wyoming Area, in which Ella Barbacci scored the game’s only goal in double-overtime.
