Carmen DeFrancesco Named Berwick Head Football Coach

For decades, Carmen DeFrancesco has taken his coaching talents in high school football across Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. Now, he’s the new head coach at Berwick, following a vote by the school board on Monday night.

DeFrancesco brings plenty of experience to the job, having served most recently as head coach of his alma mater, Mount Carmel. Before then, he led Danville, Shamokin Area, Upper Dauphin, and Cardinal Brennan. With the Ironmen and Indians, DeFrancesco won a pair of District IV championships each.

We’ll have more with Coach DeFrancesco on future editions of Eyewitness News.
