She grew up in Carlisle went Harrisburg Area Community College and Shippensburg University.
She makes ten-million-dollars a year running a little company you might have heard of.

57-year old Michele Buck is the first female CEO of the Hershey Company.
She says more women will become CEOS when they stop being too hard on themselves for not being perfect.
Earlier in her career, she was asked to run a struggling plant for another company. She wasn’t sure she could do it.
She did it anyway and excelled. Earlier jobs in the Mid-State shaped her too.
,She went to HACC, graduated from Shippensburg University and worked for the State at the Department of Revenue. She couldn’t have imagined the day… She would be offered this job, CEO of Hershey Corporation. Being a rare female CEO has its unique experiences. But Michele says there is no secret to her success. She told Alicia Richards she worked hard on every project she was assigned.
