Williamsport attorney, who was arrested for child abuse, temporarily suspended

WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Lycoming County attorney Matthew J. Zeigler was placed on a temporary suspension, the disciplinary board for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania announced Tuesday.

The suspension goes into effect on September 16.

Zeigler and his wife Christine were arrested in December of 2020 after police say they had been abusing their eight children for 26 years.
