Vice President Pence to campaign for GOP Candidate John Chrin Wednesday

FORTY-FORT, LUZEERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – 8th Congressional Republican candidate John Chrin is bringing in some heavy hitters, according to an announcement Monday by the Lackawanna County Republican Party.

The latest announcement is that Vice President Mike Pence will campaign for Chrin Wednesday in Forty-Fort, a day after President Donald Trump’s son Eric make a campaign stop in Hawley and Scranton.

The announcement says the Vice President will speak at a rally at Valley Aviation at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 24th.

Chrin is challenging incumbent Democrat Representative Matt Cartwright for the seat in the newly re-districted 8th.

Vice President Mike Pence is coming to Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, to campaign for John Chrin for Congress! We will be joined by various special guests from across the state as we rally the vote ahead of the Nov. 6 election.

Doors open at 9:30AM. Doors will close at 11:00AM, with rally to start shortly following. The rally will conclude by 12:30PM.

The event is free and open to the general public. Space is limited and the public is encouraged to sign up for free tickets by registering here. The ticket does not guarantee entrance.

NO bags, purses, or signs will be permitted in the facility. All attendees will go through a security check point. Don’t forget to check the weather on Wednesday morning and dress accordingly
