WASHINGTON D.C. (WBRE/WYOU)– Police confirms with Eyewitness News, Joesph Frank, a fugitive of Tunkhannock Township Police, has been apprehended.
Police say Frank was arrested by the US Secret Service members at The White House security gate checkpoint in the Capital.
According to police, Frank arrived at the residence of an elderly family member on Shupp Hill Road and began to smash windows with a bat. The suspect approached the victim and threatened him with the bat, police say.
Frank will be charged as a fugitive as the Wyoming County District Attorney’s Office begins the extradition process.
