STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) –  The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission worked with volunteers Wednesday to stock the “Keystone Select” section of McMichael Creek in Stroud Township.

The section was stocked with about 200 trophy-sized trout ranging between 14 and 22 inches long.

The trout are available to be fished immediately under Delayed Harvest/Artificial Lures, Catch and Release regulations.

Other sections of the creek were stocked with regular-sized trout for the statewide opening day of trout season on Saturday, April 13th.
