LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) Republican Incumbent Congressman Tom Marino has won re-election in the 10th Congressional District.
Marino faced Democrat Michael Molesevich.
Representative Tom Marino released the following statement regarding his election victory:
“I am honored to once again be chosen to represent the hard working people of Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District. Over the past six years we have made real progress – signing legislation that addresses our runaway regulatory state, the opioid epidemic, protection for our law enforcement officers and international drug trafficking into law. I also sponsored a bill that directly effects Pennsylvania’s 10th to bring back economic stability and job growth to our region by restoring commercial travel on Route 209.
“Still, there is more to be done. I am not afraid to take on the establishment to bring better solutions for you and your families back home. I promise to be your voice in Washington and to stand up for you in Congress. I will fight to keep Washington accountable to the people they represent every day that I am in office. I want to thank you for your vote and for your confidence. Together, I know we can get this country back on the right track and give our children and grandchildren a future they can be proud of.”
