Students take the ’24” challenge

Milton, Northumberland County (WBRE/WYOU) –Dozens of students put their brains to the ultimate test Friday morning.  Thirty-five students throughout Central Pennsylvania competed in the first annual ’24 challenge tournament’ in Milton.

Students had to figure out a way to get the answer ’24’ by using all mathematical equations and the numbers given.

The tournament is hosted by the ‘Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit’ for fourth through eighth grader students.

One student from each grade level moved onto the state championship tournament in Harrisburg. That competition will be in the coming weeks.
