Student Art for the Holiday at the White House

POCONO SUMMIT, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)   It may only be October  but it’s not too early to start thinking about Christmas decorations!
Especially when those decorations will be seen  by hundreds of thousands of people!

National Art Honor Society students from the Pocono Mountain School District are decorating twelve globe ornaments to be displayed on the south end of the White House.

Each student is depicting images of what Pennsylvania personally means to them.

Students from both the East and West campuses must complete the decorations by Monday.

The National Park Service selected this group of students.

The tree lighting is scheduled for December 1st.
