Teachers on the picket line in Scranton started a food collection Wednesday afternoon.
It is for the students who rely on free breakfast and lunch provided by the district
Meals are not being served due to the strike.
Donations will be accepted Thursday at Saint Francis of Assisi Soup Kitchen or the Scranton
Federation of Teacher’s headquarters on Wyoming Avenue in Scranton.
