State Police Say ATM Thieves Left Behind an Important Clue

News

(WBRE/WYOU) State Police have an important clue in an attempted A-T-M theft in Wayne County and it comes  compliments of the thieves themselves.

Somebody tried to rip the A-T-M out of the wall at the “Kwik Joes” gas station on the Hamlin Highway in Wayne County last week.

They were not successful.

They did leave something important behind, the car bumper with the license plate attached.

State Police say it’s from an older model Buick Century reported stolen in Scranton.

If you have any information about a Buick with a missing bumper call State Police in Honesdale at  570-253-7126
