Skimming Device Found at an ATM in Honesdale


(WBRE/WYOU-TV) State Police are investigating a skimming device found at a drive-thru A-T-M in Wayne County.   

Troopers say a man tried to use fake A-T-M cards a Honesdale National Bank in Honesdale March 17th.        Three days later, a man inserted a skimming device into the card reader. State police believe 20 cards may have been compromised.

    On March 23rd, a man and women were caught on surveillance cameras using fake cards at Walgreens in Kingston. Police believe they are all connected. The suspects left in a white Lincoln Crossover.

   They are also wanted for similar crimes in Lancaster County.
