NEW YORK, NEW YORK (WBRE/WYOU)– A Yankee Stadium sign advertising an upcoming promotion misspelled the name of one of their star players
Broadcasters pointed out the mistake after Didi Gregorius drove in a run that gave New York the lead.
He would later expand the lead with a two run home run, his eighth of the season and the third in his last three games.
This happened Tuesday night against the Twins. Someone at Yankee Stadium made a goof, mis-spelling his last name on a sign advertising an upcoming promotional give away.
Gregorius leads the league in RBI’s and is also in the the top ten of just about every other meaningful statistical category.
Hopefully, they spell it right on those bats they’re giving away.
