Settlement announced in museum fall

PHILADELPHIA (WBRE/WYOU) It was a terrifying moment captured on camera.

A man falls 38 feet through a glass ceiling at a Philadelphia museum.

It happened inside the Rodin  Museum in 2012.

Phani Guthula plunged thirty eight feet through a glass ceiling.

He was inspecting lighting fixtures when he walked onto the glass floor.

He spent three months in the hospital, racking up one point nine million dollars in medical bills.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art agreed to a $7 and a quarter million dollar settlement just as a civil trial was about to begin.
