UPDATE: Scranton water main break leaves dozens of customers dry, service being restored


UPDATE: According to Pennsylvania American Water, repairs are completed and service is being restored.

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A water main break in Scranton is causing some issues for customers in Lackawanna County.

The break occurred around 4:30 am at the junction of Olive Street and Wyoming Avenue.

Crews are working to get the break fixed. Pennsylvania American Water estimates that the 60 customers who are currently without water should have service restored by Friday evening.
