Scranton Police Remember Those Who Paid The Ultimate Price

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) The Scranton Police department paused Monday to remember its officers who have paid the ultimate price.


  The city  along with the Fraternal Order of Police  held their annual Memorial Day services this afternoon.
   

The Memorial Service featured songs, speeches and a reading of the names of more than a dozen Scranton officers who have died while serving their city since 1889.

    One of the most recent was Patrolman John Wilding who died two years ago.
