Sandusky to be Resentenced

(WBRE/WYOU-TV) Convicted sex offender Jerry Sandusky will not be getting a new trial but he will be re-sentenced.

A Pennsylvania Court of Appeals ruled that he should be re-sentenced on his 2012 child sexual abuse conviction.

The court decided he was improperly sentenced using the mandatory minimum.

The 75-year-old former Penn State Assistant Football coach was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in state prison for sexual abuse of 10 boys.
