Road Work Set for Monday in Wilkes-Barre

(WBRE/WYOU-TV)  A traffic advisory for those who travel through Wilkes-Barre,

Beginning Monday, October 29th, UGI, along with the City of Wilkes-Barre, will begin milling and paving Franklin Street from South Street to Union Street.

The work is expected to last at least a week. Working hours will be between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

According to City Officials, the project timeline is weather permitting.

Although the street will be accessible, it is recommended to avoid this area as traffic delays are expected.
