Remembering Officer John Wilding -One Year Later

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)   It was one year ago today (July 12) Scranton Police officer John Wilding lost his life in the line of duty.
 

   On July 12, 2015 patrolman Wilding died after suffering a head injury while responding to an armed robbery in West Scranton.


   
Wilding’s legacy and memory have not faded away.
    

His name has been honored in several tributes, including the Samuel W. Pennypacker police memorial in front of Scranton police headquarters.


    Three teens accused in Wilding’s death will be tried as adults.
