News

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA (WBRE/WYOU-TV) Arlington National Cemetery became a “burial ground” during the Civil War.
Now the remains of two more union soldiers killed in the Civil War are interned there.
The Unknown Soldiers were buried Thursday with full military honors.
They were recently discovered at the Manassas National Battlefield.
Experts determined they died at the second Battle of Bull Run in 18-62.
Before the burials, there was a dedication ceremony for a newly expanded portion of Arlington National Cemetery.
One official said it was fitting to dedicate the new section with a burial of civil war soldiers.
