(WBRE/WYOU)  The Food and Drug Administration has announced the recall of teething tablets.

 
The recall involves Hyland’s Baby Teething tablets and Hyland’s Baby Nighttime teething tablets.

These products may contain amounts of belladonna alkaloids that differ from the labeling on the packaging.

The FDA says belladonna poses a serious health hazard to children and the effects are unpredictable.

Standard homeopathic company stopped making and shipping the products nationwide in October 2016.
