WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) –  The verdict is “guilty” for a Williamsport man in the case of a mother and son gunned down in their home.

The Williamsport Sun-Gazette reports a jury convicted 27-year-old Jordan Rawls of first and second-degree murder.

Prosecutors say the motive was robbery when Rawls shot and killed 25-year-old Shane Wright and his 50-year-old mother Kristine Kibler.

The victims were murdered on Halloween night in 2016 in Williamsport in their poplar street home.

Rawls didn’t act alone; one accomplice pleaded guilty to his role in the deadly crime, while another was convicted at trial.
