Raising the Banners for Saint Patrick in Scranton

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU-TV) It’s a sight sure to have Irish eyes smiling.
 
Scranton Department of Public Workers busy hanging 35 Irish banners along the Saint Patrick’s Day parade route Tuesday morning.
  The crew is led by “Irish Gene” Reed as they were placing the banners of white , green, and orange along Spruce Sreet on the Courthouse Square. 

The Parade steps off at noon on Saturday, March 10.  You can watch it live on WYOU or right here on PAHomepage.com
