It’s October, prime time for your fall experience
Sue and John Roba own the farm and they shared the secret to their success.
“Oh, I think our secret is we just keep trying to add a little bit more ya know, each year. Bring something new to the farm.
“It just morphed into what it is. There are just a lot more possibilities as to what you can do during Halloween season”
The family farm has been around for 27 years and is growing.
Jeff Roba and Jennifer Roba explained
“I just remember being like ‘oh okay, we have pumpkins’. And then going to college and being like, ‘oh there’s a lot of pumpkins.'”
“it’s nice to kind of come in and stand on the shoulders of giants if you will. Kind of build on what they have already done. We’ve been brought up on this so we kind of know it in and out.”

When it comes to pumpkins, there is a wide selection and a variety of decorating techniques.
“I like a nice round fat pumpkin so this one is really perfect. If you are going to make a jack-o-lantern and you have an idea, you want to do triangles and a nice big mouth, you might want to go with something like this,” said Rhonda Healey, who Manages the Roba’s Family Farm.
So whether you’re picking out the best pumpkin, enjoy pumpkin seeds or pumpkin pie, and oh did we happen to mention Yoo-Hoo (the pup)?!
