Police Investigate at Mobile Meth Lab in Kingston Township

Kingston Township, Luzerne County-Police and Emergency Responders are on the scene of mobile meth lab investigation in the Back Mountain Area of Luzerne County.   At first reports came in that it was a vehicle fire sparked by a meth lab. Officials now say it is a chemical reaction from meth making ingredients.   Carverton Road is close near boat launch at Frances Solcum State Park near 8th Street.
  Lead I-Ream Reporter Andy Mehalshick is on the scene.   Three people were injured. A man and a woman who were in the van at the time were taken to the hospital.  A passerby who stopped to help the couple was also injured.  The I-Team’s Andy Mehalshick said the passerby was taken to the hospital for treatment.  Andy reports police are currently searching the car for evidence.
The State Police Crime Lab, DEP, Luzerne County Emergency Management, and Kingston Township police are on the scene.
