Pokemon Players Get Stuck in Dunmore Cemetery

News

DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pokemon Go has quickly become a huge hit with kids and adults playing everywhere.

Eyewitness News first told you about the popular game on Monday, and now Pennsylvania State Police issued a warning about the dangers of playing the game.

The Community Awareness Bulletin comes after a Pittsburgh area teen was struck by a car while using the app and a bizarre incident right here in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Dunmore Police said a group of at least 40 people were trying to catch the tiny monsters at a cemetery Tuesday night.

One carload of trainers didn’t realize the gate locks after dark, so they were trapped inside until police came to the rescue.
