WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – If you plan to vote in Pennsylvania’s general election in November but you are not yet registered to vote – you’re running out of time.
Tuesday, October 10th is the final day to apply for a new voter registration or make changes to your existing registration.
The state’s online voter registration (OVR) portal allows you to apply online or you can make changes to your existing registration there as well.
If you’re planning to vote absentee, you can mail in an absentee ballot request ahead of the October 20th deadline. Ballots must be received back at your county election office by 5 p.m. Friday, November 3.
In addition to local, municipal elections, voters will also be electing judges for the Pennsylvania Supreme court, Pennsylvania Superior and Commonwealth courts as well as judges to the Court of Common Pleas in each county.
Election day is Tuesday, November 7th.
