WBRE/WYOU — Traveling on the Pennsylvania turnpike is going to cost you a little more next year.
The turnpike commission has approved a six-percent toll increase for 20-19.The increase will affect both e-z pass users and cash customers.

The most common toll for a passenger vehicle will go from 1-30 to 1-38 for e-z pass customers. For those who use cash… The rate will go from 2-10 to 2-25.
The new rates go into effect on January 6th.
