News Conference on Allentown Car Bombing Reveals More Details

ALLENTOWN (WBRE/WYOU-TV)  Allentown Police and District Attorney held a news conference giving more information on a deadly car bomb over the weekend.
   According to officials their investigation concluded it was an intentional act of murder-suicide committed by Jacob Schmoyer.
   The officials said the devices were homemade and it was an isolated event.
   Also, killed in the car bombing was Schmoyer's two-year-old son, and his friend, 66 year old  David Hallman.
   Police also said they received letters as well as family members from Schmoyer on Tuesday and Wednesday. The letters were dated from the day of the blast on September 29.  In the letters, police say he indicated he would kill himself, Hallman and his son.
    In the letter, Schmoyer indicted he was unhappy with life.
The investigation is on-going.
