ANNAPOLIS, MD (NBC/CBS) – Authorities say several people have been shot at the Capital Gazette newspaper office in Annapolis, Maryland according to local news outlets.
Reports from the Gazette Staff to CBS Baltimore indicate as many as four of those people may be dead.
Authorities responded to a report of an “active Shooter at the Capital Gazette building in Ann Arundel County. The paper is owned by The Baltimore Sun newspaper chain.
Aerial photos of the complex show a large police presence and people being led out of the building with their hands in the air. Local media also say medical helicopters have been sent to the scene.
