MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) The “Monroe County Courthouse” will be featured in an upcoming TV show series.
“Pennsylvania Cable Network” was in town Thursday filming at the courthouse in Stroudsburg.
It’s part of PCN TV’s series called “Pennsylvania’s Historical Courthouses” featuring county courthouses history, architecture, and unique stories.
The Monroe County courthouse was selected to be highlighted.
A film crew followed the president judge and others around as they talked about the court house history.
They also shared information on the courthouse bell tower restoration project, and some interesting facts about the county in general.
The episode will air sometime this fall. The series will also feature courthouses in Foresst, Lycoming, Somerset and Venango Counties.
