Hundreds of families received an early Easter Blessing in Lackawanna County on Roughly 15-hundred food baskets were given out by the Friends of the Poor in Scranton. Volunteers filled the former Marian Catholic school in South Side — to provide a meal that people can enjoy this weekend. Families were also given an Easter basket for their children. Ameri-Health Northeast teamed up with the Friends of the Poor this year to help put together Tuesday’s food drive.
