LEWISBURG, UNION COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) A march and rally is going on in Central Pennsylvania where the community is gathering to ‘Stop the Hate.’

It’s a national effort calling for people of good will to act as a healing for their communities.

Dozens marched from Bucknell University to Hufnagle Park.

At the park they are rallying to raise a united voice against hate-inspired violence.

They want to bring everyone together despite of their race, religion, gender, disabilities, etc.

Organizers  say respect, curiosity of one another and unity has been replaced with fear, distrust and disrespect.

They are calling on parents and religious groups which they say play a vital role in younger generations.
