POCONO TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) A Monroe County man who claimed to be a U.S. Marshal accused of attacking authorities pleaded guilty today.
Christopher Simpson pled guilty to aggravated assault, criminal trespassing and other related charges.
Pocono Township police say they found Simpson wearing body armor and beating his landlord with a guitar back in June of 2017.
Court papers say Simpson then attacked the officers, punching them in the face, biting them, and spitting on them.
