Man Escapes Custody From Police In Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Wilkes-Barre Police are looking for a man who allegedly escaped custody on Monday. 

It all happened around 5:00PM on Monday near Barney Street. Officers say the suspect was handcuffed when he managed to break free.

The suspect is described as African-American wearing dark clothes. He was last seen near Franklin and Division Street near the Hanover Township area.  He is considered dangerous.
