(WBRE/WYOU-TV) A local coffee shop in Montour County is paying it forward.
Employees at Bason Coffee Roasting spent the last couple of days serving free coffee after the community was impacted by Sunday night’s storm.
Nearly 100 people have been in and out of the shop to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Nearly 30,000 people were without power for 48 hours in the Danville Area.
The owner says it was a no brainer to lend a helping hand.
“We’ve had some challenges and the community has always rallied around us so it’s an opportunity for us to rally around the community to help them. We’re here to serve” Said Brad Bason.
Bason Coffee Roasting is now back to their normal coffee sales since there are less than 30 people without power.
