She was sad when she heard many children don’t have enough food for breakfast. Some area food pantries are struggling to provide for them, so she decided to help.
Maia is collecting cereal for the Pocono Mountain Ecumenical Food Pantry and the Feeding Families Ministry.
Feeding Families served more than 8-thousand people last year and can always use more help.
The dancer decorated donation boxes and set them up where she takes lessons – the Diamond Academy of Dance in Tannersville. Her fellow students have already started filling them.
