LEHMAN, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It was a great moment this afternoon as students filled the gymnasium at Lake-Lehman High School to give former student-athlete, and newly drafted Dallas Cowboy, Connor McGovern a proper sendoff as he embarks on the next chapter of his football career.
The former Black Knight was all smiles as he held his now-retired #60 jersey over his head to roaring applause.
The Lake-Lehman and Penn State standout was selected in the 3rd round of this year’s NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys.
