As parents and teachers gear up to head back to school — a local mall is doing its part to help fund school projects.
The Wyoming Valley Mall in Wilkes-Barre just launched “Kickstart Your Class.”
It’s a Crowdfunding campaign that lets donors find and fund school projects of their choosing.
The mall has partnered with Donors Choose.Org for the project.
Local teachers are participating in the project. The needs range anywhere from basic classroom supplies to items that would provide a unique learning opportunity.
