KEYSTONE CREATIONS– If you live in Northeastern Pennsylvania, there’s a good chance you’ve tasted Gertrude Hawk’s chocolate!
The company was started in 1936 by Gertrude Hawk herself! She was a candy dipper, and used her tasty talent to make chocolates to fundraise for a local church. Now, decades later, the fourth generation is still active at the company today.
In those decades, Getrude Hawk has gone from a NEPA classic, to a regional hit! The company now has 50 retails stores throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. On top of that, they have a website, where they often see orders from all over the country– all, a testament to Gertrude’s timeless recipes.
