Prison officials say four inmates were involved in a fight in the exercise yard at 8:30 am.
Two inmates were assaulted with homemade weapons.
Corrections officers got situation under control quickly.
No staff were injured.
Two inmates were taken to local hospitals for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
The prison is under lockdown which is routine procedure. The public was never in any danger.
